Day 1: The Floating Lake
Arrive at Vágar Airport. Before leaving the island, hike to Sørvágsvatn, the famous optical illusion lake that appears to float above the ocean. Then, drive through the sub-sea tunnel to the capital, Tórshavn.
Day 2: Múlafossur Waterfall
Travel to the remote village of Gásadalur to see Múlafossur, the iconic waterfall plunging directly into the Atlantic. Until recently, this village was only accessible by hiking over the mountain.
Day 3: Puffin Island
Take the ferry to Mykines (summer only), the westernmost island. Hike to the lighthouse at the end of the world, walking among thousands of puffins nesting in the grassy cliffs.
Day 4: Culture & Return
Visit Kirkjubøur, the historical heart of the Faroes with the ruins of Magnus Cathedral and the world's oldest inhabited wooden house. Return flight to Copenhagen.
